PRERI is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization in North Carolina and other adjoining states helping to save the lives of horses and other equine, farm animals and small creatures needing help and a better quality of life. We network with other rescue organizations to find homes while giving the animals a sanctuary to heal with compassion and care from our community, youth and seniors citizens who donate their time in all facets of the rehabilitation process.Our organizations serves the community in the following areas: School Community Service Hours, Community hay and feed bank helping horses and farm animals during drought and severe weather and financial difficulty. We provide our youth the ability to learn agriculture processes, farming with business accounting, equine care and much more utilizing youth camps and seminars.
