Val Skinner Foundation Supporting women of all ages in the fight against breast cancer by funding research treatment and education programs. When our friend and fellow professional golfer Heather Farr was diagnosed with breast cancer it was a shock to her family friends and the world of professional golf. Women are not supposed to get breast cancer at age 24 nor die at 28. Her story was the inspiration to create the Val Skinner Foundation with a mission to provide a muchneeded stronger message to caution young women about the disease.
