Wallowa Avalanche Center » Home Page Avalanche Forecast By Zone 13th Annual Eastern Oregon Backcountry Festival Thanks to everyone who attended our annual backcountry festival. We had great turnouts for our pie auction and ski movie in La Grande on Friday night followed by a day of festivities on Saturday at Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort. The Kip Rand Memorial Race had 25 racers who threw down some amazing times. Our two free clinics saw great attendance and live music by Tyler Brooks and his band Wanderlust kicked off later in the afternoon.
