Get to know Flora's Pet Project Learn more about how Purina and Petfinder are making a difference together. Flora039s Pet Project Our Mission Flora039s Pet Project founded in 1999 rescues and rehomes abandoned or unwanted dogs and cats and provides all necessary veterinary care for each one before placing them in carefullyscreened loving homes. We have no source of income other than donations but we are a volunteer organization with no overhead so 100 of each taxdeductible gift directly benefits the pets whether for the premium food we feed or the incomparable veterinary care we provide. Our pets are locallysourced as well every pet in our care was rescued and is being fostered in Connecticut.
