Friends of Cordelia Lutheran Church Inc provides the framework for preserving the oldest Lutheran building in the State of Idaho (established in 1883) for future generations as a Lutheran Heritage Site. The church was home to the first Swedish congregation in Idaho, organized in 1880 by Rev. Peter Carlson. Cordelia is available, without charge, for weddings, vow renewals, and family gatherings. Experience the beauty, comfort, quaint, respectful, and simple charms of Cordelia. Activities in 2017 include Spring Solstice Service, Easter Sunrise Service, 4 weddings, Home School reading event, and Summer Concert Series. Restoration activities for 2017 include grave tending, painting siding and steps and the outhouse floors were replaced.
