Yesterday was a momentous day in York - especially for Pennsylvania’s older adults. Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro (introduced by our very own Cathy Bollinger) announced the state’s commitment to becoming the 13th state to join the AARP/WHO Network of Age-Friendly States. The Shapiro administration chose York County for this distinguished announcement because of our longstanding dedication to this work, as an Age-Friendly Community since 2020.
