St. Louis College Prep

We believe a child's access to a great education should not be determined by zip code. Our mission is to prepare scholars to enter college, succeed in college, and graduate from college by challenging students academically and emphasizing the importance of character and community responsibility. St. Louis College Prep is a tuition-free, public charter, college –prep middle and high school in the City of St. Louis. We provide free education and transportation to 320 scholars 6th through 10th grade. Our student population is as socio-economically and racially diverse as St. Louis itself. Our vision is to create a network of high performing schools in the St. Louis metropolitan area for primary, middle, and secondary grade levels. By 2020, St. Louis College Prep will be one of the highest performing non-select middle and high schools in St. Louis.Since its inception the school and staff have been devoted to creating a rigorous and challenging academic environment for each of its students, providing them an opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations through college. Students gain up to 1.5 years of academic growth for every year they are in our classrooms.This level of growth is only possible through the tireless efforts of a staff and board of directors that have created a year-round academic calendar with an extended school day to best serve the students in the community.
