Calling all NJ students, educators, and parents! In 2026, the United States will mark our Semiquincentennial: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As America prepares to celebrate, you’re invited to get involved. #AmericasFieldTrip is a nationwide contest for students to win travel and a behind-the-scenes experience at some of our nation’s most prominent landmarks, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, the Kennedy Space Center in FL, and Yellowstone NP to name a few! The Sandy Hook Foundation, as the nonprofit partner to the National Park Service at Sandy Hooks, encourages local students and educators to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by answering “What does America mean to you?”!
