ABOUT THE AMERICAN ROTTWEILER CLUB The American Rottweiler Club ARC was formed in 1973 to promote the health tested and cleared reproduction of the Rottweiler as well as protect them as a breed. ARC is the Parent Club for the Rottweiler with the American Kennel Club and the umbrella for all other AKCaffiliated Rottweiler clubs. ARC owns and maintains the Rottweiler standard the official breed description here in the United States. All ARC members must keep to a high standard of humane ownership and husbandry as well as exhibit a good attitude in all activities including sportsmanship helping others and volunteering at events.
