ECMI longs to see the peoples of Europe transformed in the name of Jesus Christ. We exist to establish and develop reproducing churches. New Hope International, formerly Eastern European Bible Mission, was founded by Hank Paulson in 1971. Its' mission is to build bridges, to mobilize churches that win the next generation for Christ in Eastern Europe. It emphasizes partnerships between churches, other Christian organizations, and donors in the US on the one hand, and national workers in Eastern Europe on the other. Strategies used are: training of nationals, work within the public schools, christian foster care, publishing of curricula and spiritual growth materials, developing partnerships, and networking with other ministries.
