We are the Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe! A State recognized Tribe located in Plymouth County (Plimoth Colony) & the Upper areas of Cape Cod. We are one of the few Wampanoag Tribes still remaining on our traditional homelands today. Mission Statement/Purpose: To strengthen the awareness and study of the history language and pride of the Wampanoag Nation and to preserve, promote, and protect the common welfare, cultural, spiritual, and economic well-being of our tribal members particularly our tribal youth.
