Our mission is to help those living with Cronic Kidney Disease (CKD) by providing education and proper nutrition to the at-risk communities in Washington DC The C Alan Foundation core mission is to improve strategies for kidney disease in reference to educational prevention and nutritional management. A few solutions we feel help eliminate social disparities in Kidney care; The Kidney Conversations Talk Show with the audience members as dialysis patients gives us an opportunity to train them on being their own advocates and helping them identify and break down the systemic inequalities in our healthcare system. We understand that poverty, lack of insurance, and education are key components that must be addressed at a level where they can understand and make a difference.
