PERC is anon-profit organization dedicated to information solutions for developmentchallenges in worldwide economic development and asset building. Redefiningthe think tank model past simply research, our staff develops real-worldapplications and works with policy makers at all levels to bring about thechange we seek. PERC is philosophically committed to market-based economicdevelopment. As such, it only proposes and develops solutions that canwithstand the rigors of the free market. In other words, a solution isdeveloped in direct response to an unmet need or market failure identified byPERC. The solution must have sufficient demand to be viable, and further must besustainable on its own after an incubation period. By demanding that solutionsmeet these criteria, PERC believes its efforts will have the maximumdevelopmental impact and will be sustainable over time without the necessity ofendless funding from development agencies, charitable or philanthropicorganizations, or foundations.
