Grace Hudowalski Charitable Trust

The Grace Hudowalski Charitable Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enriching the Adirondack Park in New York. Established in 1995, the trust continues and expands upon the life work and legacy of Grace Dolbek Leach Hudowalski.

Mission

The trust's primary mission is accomplished through educational means, particularly by updating and publishing a special edition of Robert Marshall's book, The High Peaks of the Adirondacks. She was its first president from 1948 to 1951. Her contributions to the Adirondacks have been recognized, including being awarded the Trail Blazer Award by the Adirondack Mountain Club in 2004.
