Athletes for Education (AFE) is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization comprised of current and former professional athletes, entertainers, business and community leaders developed to help youth help themselves by providing support and mentorshiself-esteem, teamwork, and discipline. Our mentorship programs and events support and reward at-risk youth from disadvantaged areas, with the goal of establishing lasting life skills, that act as an investment in our youth and community.AFE’s mentorship programs are designed to work in collaboration with schools and other non-profit organizations to teach life skills and team building exercises designed to improve literacy, school attendance, and excellent citizenship, as well as promote healthy lifestyles.
