Yesterday, two of our pipers competed at the Terry McHugh memorial solo contest. Congrats to Tim and Lillian for their performances! After the contest’s awards, Nick Hudson gave a presentation on tuning and a recital. What an absolute honor to experience this live! The Dundee Scottish Pipe Band was founded in 2010 by a small group of bagpipers several of whom had begun playing with the community high school marching bands The Dundee Scots and The Imperial Scots. If you are interested in pursuing bagpipe lessons or drum lessons wed love to hear from you. We are currently a Grade 4 pipe band competing at Highland Games within the Midwest Pipe Band region. In 2023 we took first place at the Waukesha Games.
