Pachamama's Path is an Indigenous-run501(c)3 organization founded in 2007 to create and support permanent,multidisciplinary programs oriented toward the children, youth, and adults ofIndigenous communities in the mountains outside of Cusco, Peru. The goals ofPachamama's Path are to reinforce, promote and protect the values and knowledgeof Andean culture. It pursues these goals through its two elementary schools,community-produced films, Andean cultural center, workshops, traditional musicand dance group, radio broadcasts, and cultural exchanges with other Indigenouscommunities. Although its incorporation as a nonprofit organization was recent(2007), Pachamama's Path has been leading the Peruvian Sacred Valley'sIndigenous communities in honoring their Andean culture and way of life formore than fifteen years.
