A huge thank you to the Rowan University Schreiber School of Veterinary Medicine for making our first free pet clinic a success! They served 55 pets, administering over 100 vaccines, at no cost to their owners! With no veterinary clinics in Camden, access to pet care can be a real challenge, especially for those without a car. Many people who attended shared that they couldn’t afford vaccinations for their pets or didn’t have the transportation to get to a vet. Mobile services like this make a huge difference for families who want to keep their pets healthy, but face barriers to care. At CK, our mission goes beyond meals—we strive to make resources like this readily available for our community. We are grateful for this partnership with Rowan University and are excited to announce when they'll be back! Keep an eye on our social media for announcements.
