It Takes a Village . Our Mission To enhance the physical and psychological quality of life for wounded Veterans by providing customtrained mobility assistance service dogs at no cost to the Veteran. First Responders SMSD serves wounded Veterans with serviceconnected physical disabilities primarily. When canine inventory allows we will serve Veterans with nonserviceconnected physical disabilities and First Responders.
