Hadley House

Hadley House is located at 7648 Painter Ave., Ste D, Whittier, CA 90602, established July 2007.  Hadley House is a non-profit corporation that acquires and prepares homes for emergency transitional housing for the homeless with challenges ( mental illness, Hiv/aids, etc) and is part of a process to prepare and secure permanent housing. Clinics and the county are in need of housing for their clients while waiting for the Section 8 voucher to go through. We serve the county of Los Angeles. With the recent economy most agencies expect a rise in homelessness for families, children and then there is the problem of the chronicly homeless. Rather than send these clients to a shelter, a home will keep them part of the community. They have a clean safe home to stay in as they work their way out of homelessness.
