Gorilla Doctors recognizes that the health of gorillas, people, and our shared environment are interconnected. The recent establishment of a world-class diagnostics center for great ape medicine and wildlife health in Rwanda is allowing the Gorilla Doctors team to advance several critical projects, including identifying the cause of illness in gorillas within 24 hours, research to better understand the apes' microbiomes, and genetic analysis in support of an upcoming mountain gorilla census. Learn more about these projects and how they benefit both humans and wildlife in an open letter from Gorilla Doctors’ executive director: https://bit.ly/42dRP8f (fb)
