April is a time for awareness, action, and hope. As we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we're reminded that even small actions can collectively drive significant positive change. Take note of these critical statistics: •1 in 4 women and about 1 in 26 men have faced completed or attempted rape. • 1 in 3 women and about 1 in 9 men have encountered sexual harassment in public spaces. We are getting close now with a little less than two weeks until the event! Just as a reminder -- Doors open April 12th at 6:00 PM, survivor stories at 6:30, and then live music at 7:00. We would appreciate your help sharing this event as much as possible! We hope to see as many people as possible to generate support for the four survivors that are prepared to speak from 6:30 - 7:00.
