The AGSS Memorial Foundation strives to provide financial assistance, support, and encouragement to The AGSS Memorial Foundation was created to honor Andrea Grace Soter-Simonson, who lost her courageous six-year battle with ovarian cancer in the summer of 2008. We work to provide financial assistance, financial support and connection to resources and encouragement to families challenged by cancer. Many patients who are diagnosed with cancer lose their jobs and family members are forced to take time off work in the effort to care for their loved ones. This creates a huge financial strain on the family and many times these patients are in great need when they contact AGSS for help. Support given to patients frequently goes to paying food, rent, utilities, transportation and/or medical supplies not covered by insurance. Our recipients are residents of Ventura County, California.
