Son of Semele Ensemble, Inc.

Son of Semele Ensemble (SOSE) is a collective of theatre professionals that recognizes emerging cultural questions through the production of new or under-exposed plays. We exist to generate discussion and debate about social issues and concerns, and as a home where progressive theater artists can create work to provoke an awakening in the people who experience it. Our productions, readings and workshops provide Los Angeles with year-round affordable theater in Silver Lake. SOSE is a membership theater company of professional actors, dancers, singers, directors, designers and graphic/media artists. SOSE members believe that a long-term working relationship enables artists to reach heights in their work that otherwise would have been impossible.
