Today, we celebrate the incredible life of Holocaust Survivor Yvonne Aronson, who was born on this day in 1939. As a child survivor, Yvonne spent much of the war moving from one hiding place to another. She spent three years in hiding with a widow in a suburb of Brussels, and it wasn't until the war ended that her mother found her. After being reunited, Yvonne's mother registered her for school, and in 1947, they immigrated to the United States. Thank you, Yvonne, for sharing your story and inspiring us all with your resilience and strength. Learn more about Yvonne's journey: https://buff.ly/gOv30eg Photo by John Pregulman (fb)

Join us Sunday, April 6th, to meet renowned artist Reiko Fujii, one of the eight artists that contributed to our Resilience: A Sansei Sense of Legacy exhibition. The event will feature photos and video of the Glass Ancestral Kimono along with clips from her documentary Detained Alien Enemy, offering an intimate look at how Fujii merges history, memory, and art to honor those who came before her.
