Friends of Airline Park Academy for Advanced Studies
The goal of Friends of Airline park is to provide a fundraising function as well as financial support which benefits the students and faculty of APAAS.APAAS is an "A" designated public school currently ranked in the top 10 best performing schools as the #7th school in Louisiana, according to 2013-2014 school performance scores. Based on the demographics of the students and families of APAAS, we are not eligible to receive Title 1 funds, losing out on approximately $150,000 of federal funds other schools in Jefferson Parish receive.
