WSAA WSAA is the collective bargaining agent for employees of the State of Wisconsin who are classified as Attorneys. These are the nonmanagement lawyers who work primarily as either administrative law judges ALJs attorneys for departments boards or commissions in the executive branch of government agency or house counsel or as Assistant Attorneys General AAGs at the Wisconsin Department of Justice. WSAA members represent the legal interests of the State of Wisconsin in federal and state courts as well as before administrative tribunals. They also give legal advice to their employing agencies and they act as adjudicators at workers compensation and unemployment compensation hearings and in various agency regulatory matters.
