The Cincinnati Art Club is formed for the purpose of advancing the knowledge and love of the visual arts through exhibitions of works of art, the acquiring of books and papers for the purpose of forming an art library for the use of its members, the retention of a permanent collection of outstanding members’ exemplary artwork for the study and enjoyment of current, future members, and the public. The giving of lectures and presentations upon subjects pertaining to art, and to promote the knowledge and appreciation of art among its members and the community.
