TO ENGAGE IN AND OTHERWISE PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC THE PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL RESOURCES IN THE GREATER MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT AREA, INCLUDING WATER RESOURCES, SWAMPS, WOODLANDS AND OTHER SPACES, AND THE PLANT AND ANIMAL LIFE. TO ENGAGE IN AND OTHERWISE PROMOTE THE SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF LOCAL NATURAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING PLANTS, ANIMALS, BIRDS, AND OTHER WILDLIFE. TO USE ALL PROPERTY HELD OR CONTROLLED BY THE CORPORATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE GENERAL MANCHESTER AREA AND EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CONSERVATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND HISTORICAL PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS FORMED.
