Rising Star transforms the lives of children with motor disabilities using the extraordinary approach of Conductive Education Rising Star Learning Center frees minds trapped in bodies affected by Cerebral Palsy and other motor disabilities. The Vision of Rising Star is that every child with motor disabilities will receive intensive motor training from qualified rehabilitation specialists while growing up to help build confidence and become an independent child and teenager, and self-directed adult, enabling them to participate in the mainstream of society.The Mission of Rising Star is three-fold:1.      Rising Star works to provide intensive motor training (“Conductive Education”) from qualified rehabilitation specialists to every child in Northeast Ohio who can benefit from it. Rising Star currently runs one classroom in Lake County and hopes to eventually open other classrooms in Northeast Ohio.2.      Rising Star provides encouragement to those children and their parents and provides them with hope and needed skills.3.      Rising Star educates the medical and academic communities in Northeast Ohio about Cerebral Palsy and the amazing hope and results provided by Conductive Education to permit very early diagnosis and treatment. Early diagnosis and intervention are critical.
