The Jewish Historical Society of Delaware acquires, preserves, and publishes materials pertaining to the history of Jewish settlement and life in Delaware. FOUNDED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING, PRESERVING AND PUBLISHING MATERIAL PERTINENT TO THE HISTORY OF JEWISH SETTLEMENT AND JEWISH LIFE IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE. OUR COLLECTION CONTAINS ORGANIZATIONAL RECORDS, FAMILY PAPERS, MEMOIRS AND PHOTOGRAPHS.

Founded in 1974 and incorporated in 1975 JHSDs mission is to acquire preserve and publish material pertaining to the history of Jewish settlement and Jewish life in the State of Delaware.
