Manchester Bidwell Corporation’s celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth crescendoed with a visit from MCG Jazz’ Artist-In-Residence, musician, producer, and composer Ray Angry. Angry regaled both Bidwell Training Center students and MBC employees of tales from his gospel and classical roots to the endless grind of auditions, touring, and recording, Ray now has a resume featuring collaborations with Elvis Costello, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, and a standing appointment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as a member of The Roots. He is living proof that humility, artistic drive, and living fearlessly unlock every door, and we can’t be more grateful for his time and generosity. #BHM (fb)
