The Village of Greenport owns and operates Mitchell Park and is responsible for approving any activities in the park. The Friends of Mitchell Park a registered 501c3 charitable organization that is not part of the Village administration was founded in 2008 to support cultural artistic and educational events in Mitchell Park. Those organizing events in the park can request funding for Villageapproved events from the Friends of Mitchell Park see our Request Funding page for more information.
