“Music of the Heavens” is tomorrow night! 🎶 Do you have your tickets yet? The last piece the DSO will perform is Felix Mendelssohn’s “Reformation” Symphony. This piece was composed for the 300th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Augsburg Confession. The last movement of the symphony sets one of the most famous hymnal texts by Luther “Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott” (“A mighty fortress is our God”). Tickets may still be purchased for tomorrow’s concert (5/9) on our website at www.danvillesymphony.org or at the door before the concert. (fb)

Beethoven and the blues March 22 2025 730 pm Dick Van Dyke Auditorium DHS Featuring harmonica virtuoso and composer Corky Siegel who will perform Symphonic Blues No. 6 his brilliant masterpiece that exudes Siegels genius Living Blues. The Danville Symphony Orchestra will also perform Beethovens Symphony No. 7 and Jessie Montgomerys Starburst.
