Nishtar Medical University Alumni Association Of North America Nishtar Medical University Alumni Association Of North America Important Update NANA AdTask Force in response to HIV Outbreak in Dialysis patients at Nishtar Hospital We are deeply concerned about the recent HIV outbreak among dialysis patients at Nishtar Hospital. In response the Nishtar Alumni Association NANA has formed an AdHoc Task Force collaborating with expert infectious disease specialists Zubair Qureshi nephrologists Hassan Awan Muhammad Anas Farooq Muhammad Shoaib and NANA advisors Haroon Durrani and Muhammad Sanaullah to address the situation effectively. Through multiple meetings and thoughtful planning weve put together an official statement and pragmatic action plan. The task force is committed to improving safety protocols and trainings of local healthcare professionals.
