The Community Foundation of NJ creates and scales custom solutions for purpose-driven individuals, families, and businesses. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR CHILDREN WITH KIDNEY DISORDERS TO ATTEND SLEEP-AWAY SUMMER CAMP AT THE FROST VALLEY YMCA CAMP IN THE CATSKILL MOUNTAINS. IT IS THE ONLY CAMP PROGRAM IN THE COUNTRY THAT MAINSTREAMS "KIDNEY KIDS" WITH HEALTHY CAMPERS. KIDNEY CAMPERS GET THE DIALYSIS AND/OR MEDICATIONS THEY NEED AT THE RUTH GOTTSCHO DIALYSIS CENTER ON SITE. DIALYSIS SCHEDULES ARE ARRANGED TO ALLOW FOR MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION IN THE CAMP ACTIVITIES WITH REGULAR CAMPERS.
