We raise awareness and funds to provide permanent medical infrastructure in war torn areas and promote a culture of peace and respect for human rights. EMERGENCY USA supports international healthcare projects through advocacy, fundraising, and recruitment of medical staff in countries affected by war and poverty. EMERGENCY USA is part of EMERGENCY’s international network that provides free-of-charge high quality medical and surgical care in over 70 hospitals, first-aid posts, and clinics, in Africa in Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Sudan, and in the Middle East in Northern Iraq, and Afghanistan. A new pediatric hospital in Uganda is scheduled to open by Spring 2020.
