As proud stewards of a tradition that dates back to 1923 our detachment embodies the spirit of camaraderie service and patriotism that has been the hallmark of the Marine Corps League since its inception by Major General John A. Lejeune. The Royal Gorge Detachment is a vibrant community of Marines and Fleet Marine Force FMF Corpsmen spanning the ranks of active reserve retired and honorably discharged members.
