The Eugene Bowman Economic Empowerment/Youth Empowerment is a tax-exempt non-profit volunteer driven organization that provides comprehensive and innovative programs that serve at-risk youth and their families in San Diego and San Diego County, our programs challenges youth to envision and navigate a course for a rewarding future characterized by achievement, independent thought, and social responsibility through education, mentoring and tutoring, with an assured opportunity for a higher education. With a particular concern for poor at-risk youth, we work to improve the conditions of all children. The EBEEC has been serving the needs of youth in South and South East San Diego since 2002. We have a strong community presence and we act as positive role models in the communities we serve. We also play an active role in our communities by helping to strengthen the bonds between children and their parents. Our goal is to empower our youth to make healthy life choices.
