#TakeActionTuesday: We're carrying the Mother’s Day celebration forward with our friends at For All Mothers+ to highlight that no one should have to choose between parenthood and pursuing their ambitions. Thanks to athlete-led advocacy, collective bargaining agreements and policies in professional and elite women’s sports are offering parental leave, childcare support, pregnancy protection, and fertility resources - setting a new standard in sports. These policies help mom athletes stay in the game and are shaping a stronger, more equitable future across sport. But there’s more work to be done, especially at the grassroots level. Mom athletes at all levels deserve support that allows them to show up and compete. Access to childcare and private spaces for lactation should be the norm. Policies should allow women to defer participation due to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, fertility treatments, or miscarriage, without penalty. #TheEquityProject #ForAllMothers Your Turn: 1.
