The Center for Social and Rural Development, Inc. (CSRD) is a USA based 501(c)(3) non-profit Incorporation that operates in Africa as an international NGO. Our programs are divided into 2 categories, Social Development and Rural Development Programs. Mission and Values Our Mission is promote slums and rural areas, human and community progress. We advance our mission by: creating access and opportunity in under served communities, improving the health and lives of low-income people, to improve and develop sports and youth leadership, supporting artistic expression, support education and increase college achievement, assisting in the revitalization of slums and rural areas, and Advancing methods for addressing global climate change. Our Values, What we do We work to create opportunity, have community impact, foster individual transformation, and promote environmental conservation. How we do it, We practice calculated risk taking, a commitment to innovation and collaboration, and a belief in the intrinsic benefits of diversity. Why we do what we do.
