Our Mission is devoted to showing people how to make better choices, exposing them to another way, finding better solutions and fostering personal growth. STA is about a way of life, we are not a program. Our Mission is to enable growth and provide relief to underprivileged children and their parents along with our long-standing aim to help others and prevent homelessness. Through our reputation of relentless efforts, Our Goal is, as always, to build a stronger community. All STA Services and Activities are at no charge to the beneficiaries. This is done through generous private donations from the general public, the business community, private foundations and other organizations. In today’s world there is an exponential ease of access to prescription pills, hard-core street drugs, alcohol, casual sex, adult and child prostitution and technology. These lifestyle choices have individuals and families with children living in motels all over our country as an alternative to living in a home or on the streets. People living these types of chosen lifestyles find it easier to shun responsibility and society’s rules by seeking assistance on a daily basis from numerous resources rather than work or participate in society.Straight Ahead Outreach-Taking Back Your Life Inc (STA) Vision is preventing homelessness and Social/Family Decay starting with children first, from newborns to high school ages primarily. STA sees the need to prevent children of today from becoming involved in drug and or alcohol abuse, violent crime, prostitution and abusing the system of assistance. STA strives to help people build self-esteem, learn to manage anger, teaching proper respect and conflict resolution in a day-to-day style of normal everyday life in a family/faith-based environment. The Goal is preventing future homelessness and Family/Social Decay with the end result being a stronger future community.
