Congratulations to the selected artists! The New York Studio School is delighted to host the 2024 Mercedes Matter Award Winners Exhibition. Selected by jurors Samira Abbassy and Jason Stopa from the 2024 Alumni Exhibition, these artists were honored for the exceptional quality of their work—chosen from six decades of NYSS history—and presented with the Mercedes Matter Prize, named in tribute to the School’s founder, Mercedes Matter. The Exhibition is on view in the main gallery from June 12th, 2025 to August 3rd, 2025, with an opening reception on June 12th from 6-8 PM.
