Sweet Adelines International
We are an award winning women's a cappella choral group. The mission of Gainesville Harmony Show Chorus is to advance the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, performance, and competition. We seek to educate our community through free workshops, invitations to rehearse and sing with us in our holiday concerts, and performances at public and private events in our community. We accomplish this by dedicating ourselves to musical excellence; educating ourselves and the community about our barbershop art form; actively participating as an integral and dynamic part of the art community, and promoting an environment of friendship, fun and harmony for all women in the area. We give one or two major concerts per year and provide other musical entertainment at a variety of local establishments and events. Most of these are free.
