Algies House of Refuge Incorporated

Algie's House was founded April 2010 in the memory of my father Algie Lee Crawley, Sr. We help homeless men become self sufficient by helping them find jobs, food, shelter, money management and more. Algie's House of Refuge is a nonprofit organization (501c3) that helps homeless men find jobs. We do online job searches, update resumes, set up interviews, provide suits and transportation for the interview. We also pay for temporary housing, buy food and pay for cell phone bills and Marta cards so they can get to work. We have financial training to teach about opening a bank account, understanding a credit report and investing. We offer our clients life insurance so if something were to happen to them they can take some of the burdens off their family by leaving something for their children and for the funeral cost. Our vision is to provide temporary housing in the future.
