Our Story Our story began in 1989 in Sinsinawa Wisconsin when the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters brought together churches and rural advocacy organizations to form the Churches39 Center for Land and People addressing the devastating farm crisis and nurturing rural communities. Renamed Food Faith and Farming Network in 2016 to reflect our inclusive mission and collaborative approach we remain rooted in the founding values of stewardship community spirituality and justice while working to sustain vibrant rural life.
