Our superior outcomes are the results of our one-of-a-kind model of care, that attends to all sides of the human being: the physical, the mental, and the emotional. Because every health issue, is, by definition, a family health issue, we make a point of caring for our client's caregiver. We are the real deal, on-the ground healthcare provider. We respond to the families of McHenry County directly, letting them tell us what they need. As a result, our model is ever-evolving and utterly unique.

Independence Health & Therapy Adult Day Program Memory Care Physical Occupational Speech Therapy Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Health wellness services with more personalization more attention more responsiveness. Research shows that people with more personal independence are happier more motivated healthier and stronger. For older adults especially more personal independence helps to prevent premature placement in extended care. This is why we encourage the highest possible level of independence for our clients regardless of their age or health state.

Welcome, Bailey, to Independence Health & Therapy. Bailey is our new therapy dog that has been visiting the Adult Day Program twice a month to hang out with the clients. She is such a joy to have around and a great part of the Adult Day Program clients' week.
