A THING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT LIFE MEMBERSHIP IN THE MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART If you are a resident of the state of Pennsylvania and have been awarded the Purple Heart the Department will pay your application fee for Life Membership. Down load an application from the National web site and send it with your proof of award not the Award Citation General Orders or some official documentation is required and send it to us. We will process your application and pay your fee.
