Our Mission To consistently and compassionately provide the highest quality prehospital emergency medical care to New Canaan residents and visitors. 1 Volunteer EMS Agency in CT Launched in 1975 New Canaan Emergency Management Services NCEMS provides 911 emergency medical care and transport at no charge to Stamford and Norwalk Hospitals. New Canaan is one of a few towns in the state of Connecticut to provide EMS services freeofcharge.
