The South Florida Black Occupational Therapy Caucus (SFBOTC) was incorporated in 2017 and is a local chapter of the National Black Occupational Therapy Caucus. It is a professional organization dedicated to providing a supportive network for Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and Students of African descent. The purpose of the SFBOTC is to serve as an advocate for occupational therapy practitioners and students of African descent to enhance and promote their contributions to the occupational therapy profession, national and state associations, and the public-at-large.
